Lets get First Nations Cultural Educators in every primary school

Australians want the education system to work harder to tackle systemic racism for the benefit of ALL people. We support the right of First Nations communities to share the wisdom of their own culture in schools.

Know Your Country aims to provide this choice for local First Nations communities. Imagine ALL children (and teachers) authentically learning about our ancient country and the rich and diverse cultures of First Nations people that continue to this day.

Back in 2019 Education Ministers said all Australian children can greatly benefit by building partnerships between schools and local First Nations communities*. We agree, and now it's time for Ministers to put their 'money where their mouthes are'.

Email your Education and First Nations Ministers (and Shadow Ministers). Urge them to fund local First Nations Cultural Educators in every primary school. We'll cc their Federal counterparts for you too.
